We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Captain to take command of a 35m Motor Yacht currently undergoing significant upgrades and improvements ahead of a planned charter programme in British Columbia and Cabo, Mexico.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on captain who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable overseeing ongoing projects, managing crew, and working closely with ownership to bring the yacht to her full potential.
Requirements
- Minimum 500GT License (or higher)
- Marshall Islands Certificate of Competency required
- Previous command experience on similar-sized motor yachts
- Strong operational, safety, and project management skills
- Hands-on approach to vessel operations and maintenance
- Professional, diplomatic, and owner-focused communication style
- Ability to manage owner expectations with tact and discretion
- Marshall Islands Flag Discharge Book and previous Marshall Islands operational experience would be a distinct advantage
The Role
We are looking for a captain who is happy to be actively involved in the vessel's ongoing development and preparation for charter operations.
The successful candidate will lead by example, support maintenance and project work where needed, and help establish the yacht as a successful charter platform while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Package
- Salary up to USD $13,000 per month

- Flights to and from the vessel provided
- Shared small cabin during charter operations
- Guest cabin available when owners are not onboard and outside of charter periods
Ideal Candidate
This position will suit a captain who enjoys building and improving a programme, is highly organised, diplomatic when dealing with ownership, and willing to take a hands-on approach to both operational and technical aspects of the yacht.
