An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious 100m+ Motor Yacht as a Permanent Senior / Lead Deckhand.
We are seeking a confident, resilient, experienced deck professional with proven experience as a Senior Deckhand, Lead Deckhand, or Bosun on large yachts of a similar size.
We are specifically looking for someone with genuine experience at senior level on large yachts who can confidently step into a well-established structure, someone who really understands the demands and operational scale of a 100m+ vessel and is looking to become part of a well-established, professional deck team.
The Role
Reporting to the Bosun and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting daily deck operations, maintenance programs, guest service, and overall deck department standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Deckhand, Lead Deckhand, or Bosun
- Proven background on 100m+ motor yachts or vessels of comparable size
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent deck maintenance and operational knowledge
- Professional, positive, and team-focused attitude
- Ability to thrive within a large, structured busy yacht environment
- Commitment to maintaining exceptional standards across all deck operations
The Team
You'll be joining:
- Two capable and experienced Senior Deckhands
- A highly experienced Bridge Team
Current onboard crew dynamics are positive, professional, and collaborative, with no known issues affecting the department.
Package
- Position: Permanent Senior / Lead Deckhand
- Vessel: Private Motor Yacht 100m+
- Salary: €4,500 per calendar month
- Rotation: 12 weeks on / 8 weeks off
- Start Date: ASAP
Flexibility on Contract Type
The yacht's preference is to recruit a permanent crew member who is looking for a long-term position. However, the vessel is also open to considering candidates for a 2-month temporary contract should they possess the right experience and skill set.
