The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Bosun to join a busy dual-season charter yacht, operating at a high professional standard with consistent guest usage. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong deck professional who can manage a team effectively while maintaining exceptional presentation and operational standards.

This role is best suited to a Bosun who thrives in fast-paced charter environments, understands guest expectations, and is confident leading by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the deck team, including:

  • Task delegation
  • Training and development of junior crew
  • Maintaining discipline and morale

• Overseeing all deck operations, including:

  • Mooring, anchoring, and tender operations
  • Water sports set-up and supervision
  • Passage preparation and safety procedures

• Ensuring exceptional exterior presentation at all times, including:

  • Washdowns, polishing, teak care, and detailing
  • Maintaining high standards consistent with charter expectations

• Managing deck maintenance programs and inventory, including:

  • Paintwork and preventative maintenance
  • Equipment upkeep and reporting

• Acting as a key link between bridge and deck team, ensuring clear communication and efficient operations

• Supporting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and drills

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Bosun (or more)
• Strong background in charter operations
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a deck team
• Confident in all deck operations and tender driving
• Excellent understanding of yacht presentation standards

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Second Stewardess (Interior Lead) to join a dynamic and close-knit interior team aboard a 70m+ motor yacht.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate ready to step into a leadership-focused role, working closely with the Interior Manager and leading the day-to-day interior operations.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will take ownership of the daily running of the interior, acting as the operational lead in collaboration with the Interior Manager, who functions in a broader, guest-facing and administrative capacity. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a confident and service-driven professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and manage daily interior schedules for owner trips, crossings, and charters
• Oversee the interior team during owner trips, ensuring seamless and high-standard operations
• Manage guest and crew provisioning
• Assume full responsibility for the interior department in the absence of the Interior Manager
• Liaise effectively with the Lead Housekeeper and Deck department
• Lead all aspects of guest service onboard

Service Style

• Owner trips are typically family-oriented, with a combination of onboard dining and meals ashore
• Lead service supported by a service stewardess, with additional assistance from housekeeping as required
• During charters, maintain a lead role in service execution, working collaboratively with the Interior Manager
• Plan and execute themed events with creativity and enthusiasm

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as:
  • Chief Stewardess on a smaller vessel (managing a team of 3+), or
  • Strong Second Stewardess on a similar-sized yacht, already operating at an interior lead level
• Strong housekeeping knowledge with exceptional attention to detail
• Highly organised, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Advanced service skills, including buffet, silver service, and synchronised service
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members
• Confident leadership style with a positive, collaborative approach
